ALON Marketing Group was founded in 2000 by Jennifer Ackerson, having a natural calling for assisting businesses and increasing company exposure, profits and growth. While selling and marketing tourism sales programs part-time for Destinations of New York State, she found that many mom and pop businesses, startup companies, and even some established corporations, did not understand the intricacies and power of tourism - specifically the Tour and Travel Trade market. It was an opportunity to share her knowledge in order for companies to succeed when seeking business from visitors and the Tour and Travel Trade market. This inspired Jennifer who then began representing varied businesses and developing their sales and marketing efforts - lining the companies up for success!
